Arts and creative outlets?

Hi guys!
I was wondering if anyone here did anything creative in early recovery to help them stay distracted? I’m thinking of things along the lines of knitting but I tend to get frustrated easily :wink:

Check out the thread titled The Art of Sobriety. There’s some pretty good stuff there.

@Smirkeygayze I like sewing! Creating costumes is something I love doing. I will be posting pics from bay to breakers this year (an annual run in SF). We’re all going as Sesame Street characters. :runner:

@Elisabeth I’d like a peacock hat to strut around in. What Sesame character are you going to be?

@Melrm Oscar the Grouch!
In our crew, we will also have Big Bird, Super Grover, Elmo and Cookie Monster!!! :cookie:

I’ll have to sew one for you. :smile: Yay, new project!

Well, isn’t that appropriate…j/k :smile:

Lol, hey now! @Melrm

Thank u <3

I play my guitar and write music as my creative outlet.
