I am on day 6

I guess this was a good week to start my detox from drinking. I have been sick all week, so alcohol is not on the too of my List. My problem with alcohol is being recently single and having to adjust to a single income again. I have used alcohol to numb all of that away. At times, I have one too many and make a complete a-hole of myself and just create more problems. Right now I’m just telling my self it’s a break, I need to clear my head. But who really knows. My life may take a turn for the better because of this. I shouldn’t be relying on alcohol to numb the pain. I should be facing the pain with a clear mind and conquering my problems! Anyway these first 6 days haven’t been too bad, but thats because I’ve been sick. So hopefully when I’m well I won’t be tempted.
