10 things you did well today

Self-criticizing is a very common thing. We probably all do or have done it. Self-criticism is a recipe for a bad self-image and the self-criticism. But there’s one thing that really counters a bad self-image. And that’s telling yourself the things you did well today. If you do so every day, it will have great effects and pretty soon. Therefore I invite you all to list 10 things you did well today.
So list away

Nicely going.
Maybe we should just all wait for your list first :stuck_out_tongue:

I have a list as well for this 90 days focus I have that inlcude ‘good’ things to do to focus on my sobriety. ticked almost all the daily boxes there today.
but next to that, will never come to 10 i guess.
I started my day with a power yoga class from a colleague teacher. She pulled a trick on me and I am to scared to speak up about it but do feel the passive aggressive attitude I can have then.
So it was a 2 in one. If I am to much of a chicken to speak my mind at least be present with the uncomfortable. move through it. we had a little chat afterwards and I stayed out of the “this person will self destruct in 10 seconds mode”

Not sure I’ve reached 10 things yet today because it’s still early here but I love this idea for a thread!

I actually have started to make a mental list exactly like this when I’m going to sleep at night. I either pick 5 or 10 things I did during the day that were good/healthy/helped others. I always make #1 that it was another sober day. I know without that being #1 then few or no good things would come after.

It always helps me de-stress and fall asleep…and you’re right it definitely boosts self esteem. Great idea for a thread :slightly_smiling_face:

I kinda like this idea. I am supposed to be writing a bunch of affirmations, but this seems like more fun, and somewhat challenging to find 10 things. I will give it a go. . .

Didn’t smoke - Day 10
Completed role-play with senior leadership
Completed a tedious task for work before 9/30 so it wouldn’t weigh on me
5 straight day of a kale salad for lunch

Will attend Friday night AA zoom
Walked to farmer’s market for fresh tomatoes
Contributed more than usual to TS
Was present and patient with my moody daughter
