Im sorry you have spin problems. Are there any water aerobics classes near you? Water creates resistance but doesn’t hurt the joints.

Yeah functional is really hard to kick I just been a little over 2 months it’s sober I’ve been taking methadone it’s really hard but what you’re doing is really really hard as well I just hope you can do and cheering for you in order to keep busy what I do is listen to music talk to somebody else luckily I’m doing it with my wife me and her been clean the same time now we support each other my dog really helps I have a shih tzu but listen to music and definitely this app the community has been helping me a lot and I look forward everyday to coming back and listen and reading the replies or trying to help other people but if there’s any way that I can help even to talk or whatever just let me know I know how hard it could be so keep your mind busy and stop thinking about that

Thanks for your kind words. I am on methadone too, and thankfully like you, my fiance and i started this process together at the same time. We have both tried to get clean before when the other wasnt quite ready and it was way to hard. This community had been helpful, im glad i stumbled upon it. I had only downloaded the app for the sobriety tracker and was suprised to see such a strong community as well. Im closing in on week number 3, and while somedays are fairly easy, others are still really tough. Now that i have a little time in tho, i dont want to just give in and lose it so i will keep checking in here, keep reading and watching silly animal videos online and try to get back to my passions…

Yeah same here i tried to quit before and it wasn’t really working like you said when one was ready the other wasn’t ready or vice versa and it was real tough i try to do it cold turkey one time and I did not work so that’s why we went to the methadone clinic and so far so good well that’s good that you and your fiance are doing it together me and my wife are doing it together and it really helps we both motivate each other and are there for each other when one feels a little weak the other one helps the other it really really helps a lot a lot also as far as just keeping busy it really helps weather is drawing videos online exercising or even talking with your partner it really helps a lot I hope everything is good and and if you need any help just give me a holler if you need somebody to talk to that’s what the app is for I also downloaded it just for the tracker but then seen that there was a whole community like like you and now I look forward to waking up and checking the app and seeing the replies it really helps so just keep keep an eye on the app and that’s really going to help you out a lot in the future I hope you have a good day tho and I’m rooting 4you you can do it you made it this far from something really really difficult to quit so that alone is an accomplishment you’ll see the difference all the money that was spent on that your going to be surprised your going to have more nice things money in your pocket instead of lint and the most important one you don’t have to be worried about omg what am I going to do for tomorrow or I don’t want to wake up sick 
that’s one alone realty helps me I was sick on it for about 15 17 years so I can relate so were in this together…dam I wrote you a lil baby book

Lol, my dog immediatly destroys anything with stuffing in it. I always hoped id have one of those dogs that loved and carried around his little stuffy, but nope. They are a stuffing disaster waiting to happen

Reminds me of my dog I used to have her name was Yayo she was an all white pit I miss her I just got this one 4 years ago she’ll be 5 in June her name is Fifi pronounced phi phi I didn’t want her but my girl got her I was acting like I didn’t like her by the second day we were inseparable now she’s like my second wife/daughter lol I consider her my daughter she thinks we go together lol
But nah I love that lil lady what’s ur dogs name

Lol, they have a way of making us love them. I brought Opie home on my fiances bday without telling him and he was NOT happy about it. It was a rash decision and tho i had mentioned maybe getting another, i hadnt planned on it being that day. It didnt take long tho for our furry monster to make himself the baby of the house tho. Once he saw that his dog (she has now passed) loved having the puppy around he gave in lol
