Quite Hogmanay stay up for the bells then guitar out few folk songs with the family then off to bed . no AA dances this year again so have to put my Gene Kelly moves on the back boiler lol
Been 2022 for about an hour where i am in Oz, so Happy New Year!
I was asleep by 9pm, but woke up to let the cat in and found it was 2022.

Basically… my new years was trying to figure out what to wear to the couch lmao BUT… I thought me and my hubby would have something diff and fun to eat for supper… so loaded nachos it is! And then ur post said something about the fire pits and about burning things u can’t leave in the trash. And then I thought… omg I’m going to do a Letting Go Ceremony! Which pretty much involves writing all the stuff down that I want to let go of on a piece of paper… lighting a fire (or in my case a candle) and burning it… letting all that go. I love it!!! Perfect way to start the new year I feel! Hope ur new years eve is amazing! As well as 2022!

Got a new movie picked out for tonight at home. Don’t Look Up on Netflix. Always home for New Years. It’s safer. Probably watch the ball drop from Times Square on TV. I’m Glad it’ll be 9 pm where I’m watching it from. Hanging out on TS a lot. Probably bed before midnight.

Originally my crew was gonna go to a bar to watch some bands play (I was gonna meet up with them at 11), they bought my ticket for me. All this week I just really didn’t want to go, hanging out in a bar doesn’t bother or trigger me in the slightest but I do find it to be rather boring now plus I usually end up drinking to much pop and get a pain in the gut…
Well due to the rise of covid numbers around here the event has been cancelled.
So after work I’m gonna head home to my new apartment, put on some comfy clothing, hit the couch and either continue my re-watch of the DareDevil series or play a video game for a little while.
but right now I feel like the kid who won’t be getting a pressie from Santa.
I’m looking more forward to this New Years Eve more than I have in years.
