I’ll be completely honest, i dont think there is ever a good time to avoid midges. They come out when its warm after being rainy. Which in Scotland is anytime of year!

Hahaaa fair enough. So the trick is to find the friend most susceptible to midge bites to go with, and hope they take the brunt of it?!

This was my latest hike with my oldest. She hates that hat; I bought it as a joke so had to wear it. We are thinking about doing an adventure race this year.

The weather could not be better in this time of the year. 
We walked 80 km in 5 days. Such a beautiful country and lovely people.
