30 f***n days!

30…days… finally. 30 days free from opiates. 30 days of fighting. 30 very exhausting days.
I could go on for paragraphs of the hell it was to get here. But I’ve done that enough. I’m just happy. Don’t get me wrong, I have a long way to go. A handful of wds are still lingering. The worst of which is insomnia. But on a plus side, on night 9 I began taking kratom to ease the rls. It worked very well. 2 caps at bedtime. I didn’t take it on thanksgiving and the next day I was anxious and fidgity. But now I’m 3 nights done with it as well. (Highly recommend for wds, btw.) My rls was kicking in while relaxing last night, but when it came time to actually sleep, it stopped. I still have the flippy flops at night, but I’ll take that over rls anyday. Here’s to another 30. And then 30 more, and 30 more… #keepfighting

Thank you! And congrats to you, as well! You can do whatever you set your mind to, as cheesy as that sounds. Distractions are so important.

You guys are the best! Being able to help anyone else makes even the hellish parts seem worth it. I just noticed tonight that I’ve gained 5 lbs. That’s pretty exciting. Haha. I also noticed how much more social I want to be. I actually enjoy going out and about and not being busy thinking about going home and using. Stay strong, lovelies!
