5 Years since I started recovering

Today I celebrate 5 years clean and somewhat serene.

This community has been such a big part of my journey mostly between day 0 and year 2 but I still contribute via patreon because I believe this place is amazing.

Can’t believe how my life turned around.

From selling at schools to teaching in schools.
From running for the law to working with city council. From running from my feelings to getting familiar with them.

Its been one hell of a ride, Thank you so much.

And big shout out to @SobahCobra79 and @blondie my other Sober twins on here :heart::heart:

Congratulations Mario, that is a wonderful achievement. You have earned it! It sounds like it is bearing fruit in your life: you have transformed positively in many ways :innocent:

Dude. That is an awesome post and even better achievement! I love the contrasts b/w old life and new life as it gives us younger sobers inspiration and hope.

Hey Mario!! Congratulations on 5 years! I feel exactly the same about this wonderful place. I come here everyday and I am beyond grateful to its community :pray:t2::heart: I too pay the patron fee as it’s great to support this platform to keep it going. I have been working hard this last couple of years on getting familiar with my feelings and traumas like you describe. We will all just keep going, TOGETHER!
