@Lisa07, hmmm…that is a great question!
I think my favorite change so far in this moment is probably freedom and acceptance in my life.
Which, is kind of ironic. It’s been a rough week and I have been recovering from a medical procedure that kicked my ass.
But within that, it’s been ok and even good to slow down more. It brought opportunity to have more freedom in my thought. In my emotions. How I choose to look at things and live my life.
I’ve got freedom beyond my circumstances-when I always used to feel like a victim in life over far less stuff. It kept me in a cage before, where I can fly free now regardless of what is going on.
Life doesn’t have to be perfect to still be good.
That is truly a gift of recovery and I am grateful for every single day. ![]()
Oh no,Mandi…I didn’t realize you had to undergo a medical procedure on your 8th soberversary. Sending you lots of love and healing vibes. Hopefully, you’ll celebrate when you’re feeling better.
Happy Birthday!! I’m so very proud of you. ![]()
Belated Congratulations on your 8 years sober that truly is wonderful to see. I don’t take my sobriety for granted and still inspired by people who have trodden the road longer than myself and still warned of the dangers by the people who wander off into no man’s land again. Well done and thank you ![]()
8 years of getting better at getting better, each and every day! Better today than you were yesterday, and tomorrow better still! Keep getting after it!
What a beautiful and inspirational message. You are amazing - 8 years. I hope/know I will be there someday and you will be on year 16
Also as a yogi, I love your Trees of Life.
