A Blog Post About Running Into the Man Who Raped Me (trigger warning)

I wrote a blog post about this experience that happened Saturday. He didn’t see me but it hit me like a train derailing off the tracks. I get all my thoughts out on my blog and am proud to say that despite the emotional rollercoaster I’m currently experiencing, I’m still sober.

If you want to check it out, the link is below.

Oh my god, Brooke, I’m so sorry.
I cannot fathom what you have been through.
I just so grateful Josh was with you and saw him early. Sounds like you two make a great team. :ok_hand::heavy_heart_exclamation:
Thank you for sharing.
I know that this experience was re-traumatic for you, but I hope it made you stronger.
I believe these ordeals makes us stronger.

Wow, you have managed to write so beautifully about such a horrible experience but although I can hear your pain (almost I can feel it through your writing) , I can also hear your strength and your couragiousness and your hope for the future! You are amazing (and Josh!)
