Does anyone have good advice on techniques for a good nights sleep? I tend to overthink most at night. Ive slept in periods the past couple of nights.

I wasn’t a big believer in meditation but my wife started doing it at night and I listened by default so I began passing out before it was even over. If you’re into faith and spirituality at all, on deployment I used to listen to this version of the bible on audio that was read by famous actors and that used to conk me right out. Trust me my brain goes a million miles a minute. It’s also why in the mornings I have started to slow myself down instead of rushing out of bed. I have to consciously start my day slower so I come at it from a place of serenity. Hope you find some peace and get some rest ❤

Our brain can definitely play tricks on us when trying to sleep sometimes. I find the Insight Timer app super helpful with various meditations on there including sleep ones. Worth giving it a try if you can, hope things settle for you soon and you get some more restful nights sleep 😴 🤞

I have no advice or tips I’m afraid. What I can say I’ve never slept better but took a while to get there. Just over 4 months with no booze. Would be o. It Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday id be in bed by 10, then wake at 1am, 2, 3,4,5 up at 6 for work feeling terrible.

Went to bed at 10 last night and woke at. 5.50, just before alarm at 6.

A good night’s sleep and I believe it’s all down to no alcohol in my system.
