A Look into the Life of a Crazy Dutchman

I often agree with that, but if it comes to moderately using, not so much

Last night I got out of bed around half past midnight to brush my teeth, since I forgot. That tells me that I am properly motivated for brushing my teeth, so I’m pretty happy about that.

If I look at your post history I’m not surprised lol

Not yet, it’s a bit unclear. If an appointment gets cancelled today, I can go, otherwise I may have to wait a couple days

My molar is still very sensitive, but a bit less. Maybe it’s not too late for it yet

Had to reset the nailbiting counter

I had been promising myself that I would read this thread and I finally did it!

Hey, I’m Megan, nice to meet you! Thank you for asking me to put up trigger warnings about my PC building, it has opened up my eyes to another level of understanding and love for my fellow humans. It has also led me to reading your thread, which also brings another level of understanding and love.

I had an employee who suffers greatly from gaming addiction. His main game was DOTA. I love that boy, but working in a hot, sweaty kitchen with someone who doesn’t shower and can’t ever get out of bed to come to work even remotely on time made things very difficult. I fear for where he is in life right now. The stay at home order was a perfect storm for him to lose his last connection to reality.

On another note, I do the same thing where I tell everything to fuck off. It’s like drawing a line in the sand and letting it go once the words are out of my mouth. Can stop dwelling on the anger and move on. Well, until it pisses me off again.

I’m so glad you have joined this site. I’ve seen you interacting in a lot of different places and it makes my heart happy!

Thank you for your kind words.
I know the place your employee was in very well. I hope they’re better now, but I doubt it :frowning:

My mom is very annoying sometimes. She told me that if it’s a naked nerve in my molar, that I will get a very painful treatment. Why would you say something like that to someone who is terrified of the dentist. I really don’t wanna go to the dentist anymore. I know people who’ve had a similar treatment that went wrong. They suffered and now I’m scared that it will be the same for me. I will go nonetheless since its best for my health, but I can’t get it over with anymore. Now I’ll grow more and more anxious over time. I love that woman, but she can be a pain in the ass

I need your opinion. My mom wants me to change my diet due to my bad dental hygiene. I know my tooth trouble comes from not brushing and my luck running out, not from a bad diet. I eat the same my mom eats. I’ve cut out all unhealthy food except cola to save money. Now my mom wants me to cut cola from my diet. I already eat very healthily, I rarely eat meat, I always eat my veggies. The only “sin” is cola, but now she wants me too cut that too. Should I cut cola too?

Quick clarification, my cola use is a max of 1 glass each day

Everyone’s teeth are going to be different. You and your mom might eat the same foods, but just like in how people can gain weight more easily, people can collect plaque more easily. If that’s you, it won’t matter that you’re eating the same food as your mom. While sodas can really mess with your teeth, if you really don’t want to give it up, then go for brushing a couple times a day and flossing at night.

I’ve never been big into flossing, especially since I’ve had braces twice and I’m not stuck with permanent retainers, so flossing is just a pain. But I decided that I would find something to do that I enjoy while flossing and brushing, like listening to a book or a podcast or whatever, and it makes it less of a chore. I don’t know if that would be useful for you, but I figured I’d mention it just in case.

Good luck!

My molar is becoming less sensitive. Still don’t know when I can go to the dentist.
I got great news about my stepdad. His intestinal issues aren’t his cancer coming back, nor nerve problems, it’s a “friendly” tumor. This means he may get to live longer, since this means that ALS is less likely

It’s very relaxing since it’s a form of meditation and you make something awesome out of not very pretty bricks

I’ve looked into it real quick, but there’s no way I can afford it. I also want to prove myself I can stop biting myself to boost my confidence.
But thanks for the suggestion
