Please forgive me if it’s triggering. It’s not meant to be. I was very curious about my own. If anyone wants to share that’s okay, not there’s a deep respect for you. I figured it would be interesting what they were especially when trauma, toxic stress and adversaries comes to play.
Mine was 9/10. Having realized it I know there’s deeper work that needs to be done aside from the addictions.
I heard my professor say trauma is scary and hard. Moving forward is scary. Having to sober up emotionally and not being on auto pilot. @#$% that’s scary!

I’ve heard of this before when I was researching autoimmune diseases. There is a link between childhood trauma and autoimmune diseases. It’s believed to be connected to long-term stress from trauma as children.
Genetics + early chronic trauma + poor coping = eventual addiction
Especially add in mental health & physical health issues & life stress
Thank you for sharing the quiz.
One of the questions made me realize for the first time I was sexually assaulted by adults while I was a child. The experience had been minimized so much over time that I forgot the reality of the crime.
I’ve minimized all of my trauma.
I guess that was how I coped w/it!
No wonder I developed addictions!

I posted the link I believe you were referring to?
Yes thats it. I actually saw it at an Adult Awareness Class I had to take for a weekend as part of my probation for a DUI. Honestly the entire class was awful and filled with misinformation. However, this portion I actually felt was informative. I really enjoyed the talk she gave and her findings really make you think. It had never occured to me to try and take an ACE test. I will do it soon and return to post my score.
