Hi @FreshStart2025 welcome to Talking Sober  :innocent:

Online meetings were helpful for me in the beginning especially. I still attend online meetings but not as regularly as I did then (I am mostly at in-person meetings now).

Most of the meetings on this list are online. If you’re in the UK, Australia, the USA, or Canada, there are links at the top of this site for that:

SMART Recovery

These are online AA meetings, worldwide - to find meetings in English, tap “Filters”, at the top, and go through to the bottom of the filters, where you’ll find language filters: tap “English” for the online meetings in English.

Welcome @FreshStart2025 on TS you will find like minded people who REALLY understand.
This app is a powerful recovery tool, but it isn’t the total answer, you still need to work a Program.
The flavour of the Program is up to you , there is no 1 size fits all.
But, remember ‘It only works if you work it, otherwise your brown bread’.
Take care, don’t take that first drink, that’s the one that gets you pissed, not the 10th or 12th, and once again welcome to our community.

If you’re in a major city there are meetings pretty much every hour on the hour so I would suggest double-checking I’m sure there are meetings you can attend if you really want to stop drinking. Recovery is #1 above all else so meetings aren’t really an option they are a must have for me.

I did swing shift for decades. Easier when you are young. Hell when you are older. That 310 day accomplishment doesn’t get erased. That’s a solid amount of time to heal and work on the “why” of your drinking. You slipped up. You’re back at it. You’ll learn from it and come back stronger.

How are you doing today?

First off welcome. Relapses suck, but I’m glad you’re back at it trying to stay sober. Take it a day at a time and if it’s hard to make in person meetings zoom meetings are available also. Just make sure if you have any urges to reach out to someone as quickly as you can. It really helps a lot. Wishing the best for you
