Well my name is joey i am now 28 years old ,i live in texas, Almost mexico lol. Ive used alcohol and drugs since i was about 15 .down here its very cheap to get your drugs. its been really rough not being brought up by ur parents and only by a grandmother and uncle.not that they didnt do a good job but it was always something that was hurting me growing up.i met my high school sweetheart and im now married and have a 6 year old son.ive been recently going to counseling because my addiction got so bad i was leaving all night to go get coked up and drunk.not good , not good at all… I am trying to clean up for about 4 months now but someway my body gets the urge of feeling that high again and i relapse.i get alot of support from my wife and im very happy about that. I cant thank her enough for that.ill keep trying my hardest to becoming drug free

You don’t have to go through this alone. You should try group meetings. It helped me so much with my sobriety. I know I wouldn’t be 39 day sober without my group. It’s nice to be able to have one on one conversations with people who can relate to you… who relate to your addiction. You should try it
Thanks for the advice.my wife has been asking me to go to aa meetings here close by to our house at a church.i haveto really push myself to get things done.
