Oh @Hazy good work on coming back and your 24hours sober. Secrets keep us sick. Im greatful youre back and youre accessing what went wrong. What actions can you take when high stress and boozey family is in your face? Processing whats within your control in situations like that and preparing yourself for next time, because life is lifey, you can be better prepared next time.

(I stopped meetings 5 months ago because I thought I was so sure and determined to not pick up) :sunflower::people_hugging::heart_hands:t3::folded_hands:t3:

Thanks for your words :cherry_blossom::folded_hands:t3::heart_hands:t3: yes sobriety is amazing; have to look at my flaws and learn to recognise (and admit) when I am actually struggling :sunflower:

You don’t have to go all the way back to Texas on your way to NYC when you get a flat tire, just patch it up, and come on back, do what worked for you in the past. BTW it took Bill W. 4 times to visit Town’s hospital before he stopped the revolving door too. Now, nothing says you gotta do all 4, or more, you know where we are, we’re going to welcome you back, please, give us a chance to say, welcome back, stick and stay, this time… if you can.

it’s not that I don’t think I can go back out and come back in, like some of those folks say, “i don’t know if i have a relapse available, ill be gone” I don’t think that way, I just want the bullcrap to stop. and problems seem to disappear when I stay sober.

life doesn’t change, I do. I must… I “get” to change… and that is joyful.
