Little over 2 weeks sober, and I was able to train hard tonight at Muay Thai. Forgot how much I love the sport, and didn’t realize how drinking was keeping me away from it. For anyone looking for a hobby to keep your mind off addiction, I highly suggest some form of martial arts. When you train, that is all you think about, and it clears your mind. Not to mention how therapeutic it is to hit the crap out of pads, and the workout is amazing. 3 months and I’ll be back in fighting shape doing amateur fights again. Can’t wait!

Great motivation. I trained in Aikido. Dont forget that alcohol filled a need and as shitty as it sounds we ALL have / had a complex relationship with our booze / drug of choice. Cant wait to gear updated from you!
