Getting closer and closer to a month and it feels great. Working out, eating healthy, dropping weight and training again. It’s amazing how much alcohol affects the body. I keep training and get better. I much rather step into the ring and get my butt handed to me then take a drink right now. I rather look like this again then be hungover. It’s all worth it. Training keeps me going, and I will train harder then I ever had. (Those are 2 black eyes in one week from kicks to face. Would take that then have alcohol control me again. Thats how much alcohol destroyed my life)

Congrats on the 30 day mileston @Atticus880!
Training and exercise is great for recovery! It helps you stay busy and keeps your mind off the addiction a bit.
I had a related conversation with a friend of mine a while ago. He used to be addicted to meth and speed about 10 years ago. He told me that every time he would deal with a difficult craving, he would head to the gym and take it out on a punching bag until his body was too tired to crave drugs.
Hope your face heals quickly
