@RetainKingII dropping this bad boy for you dude
"Deseeert, niiiiight!!!"
First black metal song/album I ever heard. Legendary.
Fuckin rights man I was watching Until The Light Takes Us such a good documentary starting to go back to my roots again
Ha lovely stuff
Yeah, great doco, I like Once Upon a Time in Norway as well, very cool. You’re dropping the classics today
Live in Leipzig is my favourite Mayhem release. I’m pretty sure this is the version from that. I prefer Dead’s vocals to Attila.
Me too man Attila is cool but he definitely has an acquired taste because he goes very experimental with his vocal range. Some may even say they loved Maniac the most I don’t
Awe yah man they are finally going to release another album, the grindcore kings, the last album was sooooo good. It’s too bad Bolt Thrower walked away from the scene I’ve been a huge fan of them as well for years
Anyone but Maniac
Funny, I ended up listening to The Return after those black metal vids. Great minds👍
Dude if we lived in the same country I’d be suggesting we start a black metal two piece up definitely good taste creates very tasteful music. Here ya go dude check this one out, I was recommended to check out Afsky a newer depressive black metal act and this song kicked in and between the artwork and sound the sense of hopelessness and loss, for me that’s therapy . Very distinct influences from Emperor and Darkthrone on this one
RIP Brian Travers. This the favourite track on my favourite UB40 album. Helped me to get into Billy Holiday. First band I saw live, in 1980. Time flies.
Haha, 100%!!
I like it, very atmospheric and epic sounding. And the cover art is awesome. Good find
Such a smooth track love the upbeat reggae feel of the high hat
