Uncle Acid are filed in the section ālistened to them so much I ruined it for myselfā. Man, when that first album came out I had it on non-stop.

Nice. The hype was so big on them when they first came out (deserved for once!). Literally CD-Rs of their stuff were selling for hundreds

Didnāt really like their last album at first, the lo fi production was a let down for me, then I saw them playing it live, and finally I surrendered 
Yeah, Rise Above were very smart with the way they marketed them. Kept it all very secret which added to the hype.
It was the production that really attracted me to them actually. They sounded like some lost relic of the 60ās. A lost classic type of deal. I had no idea they were a current band when I first heard them.
