Anthem of the Day (Part 2)

The Liverpool anthem at the end always give me the chills

This album is flawless, proof, even a dog can sing to it

The area between More and The Wall is so good…
I remember when I was 10/11 years old, i used to go to bed listening to “wish you were here” album, and always waking up on “welcome to the machine” :joy:

Homework was a GREAT album.
Played it through all of my youth and alot of my adult life.
Notable tracks like fresh, revolution 909 and my personal favorite, high fidelity.
They were ahead of the game with that album.

My dad owns a cleaning business and would bring home anything people were getting rid of and one time he brought home some crates of records and Meddle, Wish you were here also Led Zeppelin IV were in there probably some other classic’s but as a kid I didn’t know any better but something about those covers had me playing them everyday. Now that I started collecting vinyl I wonder what happened to all those records.

Haha. Funny. 'bout Pink Floyd, it was my dad who bought it, he used to pick random LPs for his parties with friends, based on the cover. He doesn’t know anything about music (except Sinatra, Dean Martin and Cash, which is cool), so the LP ended up in my brother’s hands.
Now it’s in mine

About 500,000 Dutchies said they attended this gig. Paradiso’s capacity is 1,500. Not sure where I was at the time. I don’t think I was there.

It’s about time I checked out this thread. Here’s one of my old time favorite bands from Colombia that I’ve started reconnecting with. Love Andrea Echeverri and her unique voice.

If you have Apple TV the beastie boys story is a phenomenal watch Mike and Adam tell the story of the band from its early inception all the way up to Yauchs death

Nirvana - Nevermind, 1991.

For the anthem, I went with “Lounge Act” - a tune where I’m still not sure how it didn’t wind up as a single.

My favorite song in Spanish. Listened to it at least a million times… …at least. It was on two different Buddha Bar CD’s. Reminds me of a period of time in my life… …
@RosaCanDo love your songs you posted, the attire, flowers, instruments, dancing, just all of it
@Mno like your guy sitting on the steps with the crickets… Belton Sutherland

Agree also that’s a cool collection of albums you got there. I haven’t been to my local shop in a couple months because I know I’ll end up walking out with more than a couple but I did get one delivered yesterday.
