I love this band
Have you seen them live ? So much energy
Absolutely love the energy. I fobbed them off for ages because all the cool kids liked them. Turns out they are just excellent. Not seen them live and the prospect of them and YOT at Outbreak next year is very tempting.
Really great. Thanks for the reminder
Yes! Lovely stuff.
Great song. Great band. Love how they were more or less “Cocteau Twins & Friends play covers”.
I actually recorded a cover of the below myself. Took me like a decade to piece together they brought in Kim Gordon to sing it. So obvious hearing it once I knew.
Ha, yeah. I heard of them following a tribute to Tim Buckley concert. This track is great.
It must be next level amazing to be able to play the music you love. I was given a banjo as a leaving present years ago, its pure violence how untalented I am. It sits in the corner a symbol of all I have never achieved.
It can be. But believe me, what I am doing to the works of The Beatles, The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian, etc could very well have me jailed for some kind of abuse in most countries.
This little snippet is fantastic.
Ha! And there is recorded evidence! Very nice.
A recovery rap song, I find the lyrics and video very moving, and inspiring
SLAINE : do what you love
I loooove this song
I’d rather be a forest than a street
Yes!
I’d rather feel the earth beneath my feet
I love a bit of Simon and Garfunkel
God, they were so good in their early years. Their first 3 albums are excellent. Went downhill after Ricky (guitarist) passed away.
Whoever that stage musician is that they got to play sax – absolute machine. The sax solo is the highlight of the whole thing! Everyone goes nuts. Guy playing trumpet looks like Peyton Manning.
Probably one of my favorite tunes from the B’s. Dance-able, cool keyboard bassline, and the lyrics are like surrealist horror.
