February Red #7

The White Stripes - White Blood Cells, 2001.

I remember buying this one not long after it came out. Right at the beginning of the now-called “garage rock revival”.
So far I have only included single-track videos, but this time, I am opting to share a full show. This is right around when this album came out, just before the band totally blew up. Figure this is one of their last small club/pub shows. Could tell something special was there. Probably one of my favorite full shows on YT. Great video quality for the time, too.

TW: it’s in a bar, so there’s visible (brief shots of) drinking and smoking indoors since you could do it back then.

Ethan, I see not wanting to be on a website a lot… … You will be missed and you are cared for. I hope you will make your way back and in the meantime, I hope you feel satisfaction, happiness, productivity in your life, doing your thing(s), making your music, staying sober. I have always liked everything you posted, thank you. There were two posts I was going to respond to and when I went to do it, I could no longer find them,. now I see you are gone, Take care, stay safe, stay sober, be happy and sincerely hope you come back sometime!
