Personal opinion, Bleach is their best work.

Yes it’s very raw, and almost seems like when they did in utero they were trying to go backwards to the old Sound and less like pop songs

Exactly. It’s much more in line with the Alice In Chains brand of grunge: sludgy, gritty, bleak. Love it.
