White March #4
Mr. Bungle - California, 1999.
Got this about 10 years ago in the early days of my collection, I remember getting it the same day as Purple Rain.
If youâre not familiar with Mr. Bungle, youâre likely familiar with Mike Patton, at least. Involved in more projects than I can count, notably Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, and FantĂ´mas.
Album is just all over the map, every song totally different from the previous one. Abrupt changes in style, tempo, time signature, etc.
Mr Bungle was actually Mikes first project, he used Faith No More to get Mr Bungle on the map, I think my personal favorite with Patton is Tomohawk.
But heâs a workaholic and openly admits to it, he always has to have multiple projects to make him satisfied
Thanks again for the music, messages and congratulations Iâm mad grateful for all of it.
This is my favorite Bob Marley song. Peace to All
@SassyRocks I think it was you that told me you got to see the OG lynyrd skynyrd lineup.
I get a monthly box for guitar junk i donât need subscription. They had stickers in it and this one made
Me think of that convo immediately
Congratulations on your 100 Tito!!
It was me. And yes, it is true. I saw a lot of them back then. It was a different time for sure. Skynyrd was my 1st concert. Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show was my 2nd. We would all pile in a van and off we would go to whomever was playing that weekend.
An obvious Trigger Warning for this one. Just watched the doc Life and Crime 1984-2020 on HBO. Gritty, tough, sad watch. Excellent documentary. Lots of heroin in it.
