There’s a really cool bootleg vinyl release of the Pompeii performance. Tricky to track down. I’m waiting for an official release.
That’s interesting they only have video or DVD I mean? I always assumed that they had the audio on CD or vinyl? It definitely should be on vinyl because how many people have watched that performance then if you listen to the audio you can picture everything.
Ha! No Doubt!
One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs. I didn’t even know about this album for so long. Because when you’re young everybody only talks about Darkside of the moon. But they have a lot of music
I am 99% sure there’s never been an official audio release in any format. LAME!
Lotta boots though.
Meddle is the best one!
Also a huge fan of Atom Heart Mother, which is consistently overlooked. Even the band hates it, lol.
Thank God for my adolescent music education. A.k.a. chilling in the basement in Pennsylvania going through my dad’s records
Probably ruined them all lol
Led Zeppelin coda probably had the most impact on me as a child… Might have been the first Led Zeppelin album I heard. I know that it was on vinyl. And I know that one didn’t get messed up
White March #5
Pretenders - Pretenders, 1980.
I’d forgotten what a solid album this is - but, that’s part of this whole record wall exercise. Get spinning some of the stuff that’s collected some dust. I bought this nearly 2 years ago at my local record shop when they opened for the first time after the initial COVID hysteria and closing of non-essential businesses. That day also coincided with my 2-yr sober anniversary.
I love the track too, I think she has a great voice and I like how dramatic it sounds. Hope you enjoy some of the other stuff.
Hope you are having a great Friday.
It’s going pretty good Hope the same for you as well. Peace
