White March #7

S U R F I N G - Deep Fantasy, 2012.

Really looking forward to the last 3 records of White March.
I’m certain I’ve posted this group before, but they’re Aussies doing synthpop/chillwave. I’d call it Vaporwave adjacent. Good listen from start to end, and I’m a sucker for the album artwork. Very Patrick Nagel.

Was going to post the Woodstock 1994 performance, but I love the pre-song chat between Perry and Howard about the tune.

This is the song that convinced me to buy a 12-string guitar ~15 years ago. This is also when I learned that while they sound gorgeous, keeping the bastards in tune is far more trouble than it’s worth. Sold it 6 months later

Edit to add: if you’re unfamiliar with the group, it’s more or less Jane’s Addiction but with a different guitarist (and of course, bit of a different style). They weren’t around long, put out 2 albums in the mid/late 90s if I’m not mistaken.
