Tbh that sounds a bit dated to me now. Lots of musicians gone way too early BC of using. Maybe many of 'm would have made better music sober. We’ll never know.
I’m not going to purge my record collection though. Good music is good music. As are good lyrics about life.

This is an interesting take on things. I tend to agree with @Mno’s view however I also think that this quote is very true from the perspective that a massive amount of the music I listen to now is written by musicians who have battled addiction.
So it is influenced by drugs/alcohol, just not because they’re currently using. Thought provoking stuff!
