Anthem of the Day (Part 3)

“Wooden Ships” sung both by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Jefferson Airplane at Woodstock 1969. David Crosby and Stephen Stills were two of the writers along with Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane.
Attaching Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, a short version live of Jefferson Airplane at Woodstock and the clearer, more refined and just stunning version from their Volunteers album.

@Soberbilly nice that you grew up so close… thanks for the stories and connections. I am sorry about the tragedy. By the way, that song “Drive” I have always known that song but never knew the name or even that there was a band called The Cars.
Bless them for that song. We have all been there.
@Tito23 that Bob Dylan song I love, have not heard in forever.
All the music is great, thanks every one.

Editing to add something I ran into after posting this. About the song.
The Atlantic, January 21, 2023, “The Immortal David Crosby”
"How the Late Musician’s obsession with science fiction shaped his legacy. " By Jason Heller
“In the liner notes to the CD reissue of the 1969 album Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby explained that “Wooden Ships” is an allegory where “we imagined ourselves as the few survivors, escaping on a boat to create a new civilization.” But although he outlived many of his generation’s hard-living musicians, Crosby did more than survive. He altered the trajectory of American music with an imagination far beyond his age”.
