This one too.
Oh my goodness! A new one for me! Thank you!!!
So tight, so good. Gives me 80s vibes in a good way.
I saw Kevin de Vries live yesterdayâs night, mixing for 5 hours (!) in Paris with Konstantin Sibold. I think I was the only sober human in the publicâŠbut anyway it was so good!
We donât need drugs to dance and have fun!
Wow my friend, this is great
@M-be-free49 the video, so beautiful and emotional⊠along with the song, thank you.
I read on âthe internetâ that the song was written in memory of âBandâ mate Richard Manuel and that Eric Clapton wrote âHoly Memoryâ in memory of Richard Manuel also. An older live and a recent audio of it attached.
In the comment section of another of Claptonâs version of âHoly Memoryâ I found this comment I am adding.
TW- Rock bottom, sobriety, âHPâ

"In his memoir, Clapton: The Autobiography, the musician writes about a rock-bottom moment he had in rehab in 1987:âI was in complete despair,â wrote Clapton. âIn the privacy of my room, I begged for help. I had no notion who I thought I was talking to, I just knew that I had come to the end of my tether . . . and, getting down on my knees, I surrendered. Within a few days I realized that . . . I had found a place to turn to, a place Iâd always known was there but never really wanted, or needed, to believe in. From that day until this, I have never failed to pray in the morning, on my knees, asking for help, and at night, to express gratitude for my life and, most of all, for my sobriety.â
