I’m struggling with anxiety and panic attacks.
I’m not sure how to deal with them as I never really had them before.
My chest is hurting and I have trouble concentrating on anything.
The Dr. Was not very usefully other than to refer me to psyc and addiction centres.
Perhaps I just need to think positive but it’s just hard to when my body feels like this.
I’m sorry your experiencing that. I’m the queen of anxiety and my kingdom the local natural food store.
Kava tea or tinctures, camomile, lavender, the list goes on! Oh! And never underestimate the power of b vitamins! When you drink you deplete your body of this incredible natural anti anxiety/ happy pill!
And as always, don’t forget to breathe.
Meditation is scientifically proven to help! http://liveanddare.com/benefits-of-meditation/
I too suffer from anxiety attacks and have found help with Bach’s Rescue Remedy. It also helps me to visualize an anxiety attack as a wave that has to pass. If you try to fight it it’s worse. Acknowledge it and know that it will pass. Also when you feel an attack try to close your eyes and breathe deeply through your belly not in your chest. That’s what helps me the most. You are not alone!
Could it be a side effect from withdrawal?
Suffered from sevre anxiety my entire life. Exercise helps control the frequency of the panic attacks as well as prayer. Controlling your breathing and talking out loud to someone about your anxiety has given me control back over this nasty disorder.
I am a Christian and prayer sometimes is the only thing that helps. Not sure if you believe in Jesus Christ or not but he’s my daily strength. Also on day 6! Couldn’t do this with out him!
Cofein and nicotin and stress at work are the triggers for me, avoid if you can
