Any aussies in the house?

Doing great. Out of lock down, did a bit of 4wding today out Ballan way. Took the camera but no decent shots was so much fun. Hope you guys are all well

How are we all doing my fellow Australians??

Super busy at work so coming home exhausted most days. Hoping for some decent weather on the weekend but thatā€™s unlikely in Melbourne at this time of year.

Heaps of yard work and tree trimming to help a friend who just moved in.
Flared up my C6/7 nerve issue on right side, but damn we got a lot done. I may regret it later, but for now have a satisfied, if painful, glow.

Not gonna watch Origin tonightā€¦ just couldnā€™t be arsed.

Sounds like a very accomplished day! Iā€™m giving the game 30 mins and then may switch to Netflix lol.
@apes2020 has gotten me onto Black Mirror and Iā€™m disturbed but fascinated by itā€¦
Hope your donā€™t wake up with too much pain/regret tomorrow morning!

Urgh just announced that GC etc in lockdown as of 6pm tonight for 3 days. Was lying in the dentist chair when it was announced on the TVā€¦ walked out of the dentist surgery into complete bedlam in the carpark and Coles (all I wanted was a loaf of bread and some bananas). People are
headcase maniacs!!!

These lockdowns bring the worst out of people. I have family members who no longer speak due differences of beliefs surrounding covid issues.

Thatā€™s so sad Seb but completely relatable. The vaccine is a sensitive topic within my family thatā€™s best not discussed with each otherā€¦
I feel sorry for all the pensioners who have to wait until payday to do shopping, then canā€™t get what they need or have to pay for expensive brand only cause everything else is gone. Pure madness. I was side eyeing everyone at Coles and had to bite my tongue lol

Kept well clear of all shops as soon as lockdown was called.
You can still go out to shop, or home deliver groceries.
So far itā€™s only the 3 days.
I am quite sure I can survive that, and longer, with just whatā€™s in my pantry and freezer.

People are jerks.

After going through an 111 day lockdown last year, every ā€˜circuit breakerā€™ lockdown now is a piece of cake for me but still bloody annoying. Panic buying is just the most cringeworthy behaviour, itā€™s just senseless. Toilet paperā€¦still astounds me why people were hoarding bloody bog rolls for Christā€™s sake.

Yeah I know so weird thatā€™s the first thing people stockpile :woman_shrugging:
