Anyone into detective fiction?
I could really use some recommendations!
Thanks!
I’ve read Tana French, Louise Penny and Lisa Jewell and liked all of them. I think that is also because they are set in countries other than my own so I get a glimpse of other cultures and mannerisms along with my murders.
I am going to give In the Woods by Tana French a try!!
Seems very promising, thank you!!!
I’m pretty sure I read that one. It takes place in Ireland, good character development. All of hers may follow the same detective through his cases. Happy reading!
My new quit lit which I am loving:
I am also reading Detransition Baby by Torrey Peters and The Swiss Family Robinson by Wyss. That way I have a book for every mood.
Almost done with it! Once I started it I just could not stop!!!
It very much saved my Sunday, now trying to get the time to finish those last chapters during the week!
Yessss! I love when a good book sucks you in.
I made a reference to this book in a post recently and then the following day saw it at a thrift store for 50 cents . I wasn’t looking for a book and it happened to be the first one I saw… So I had to buy it
Just finished book three and waiting on my grandson to finish book four so I can steal it from him. The kids are on to something!!
Need a recommendation for High Fantasy, Thriller, Mystery, or Science Fiction. Going on a long trip and need something to occupy my time.
I have a copy with that same cover on my to be read shelf. Are you liking it?
Have you read the entire Ender’s Game series? Ready Player One was really good too.
I’m excited to not be reading texts for the next week or so, and can plow through some books I have
Read this article in Outside Magazine …
Being a bit of a spiritual seeker throughout my life, it resonated.
And I was compelled to read the resulting book…
I really liked The Name of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. It was long but compelling and a genre I don’t read often.
