Hey guys im new to this app and was wondering if anyone here struggling with cocaine addiction could please provide me some pointers? Such as useful distractions when trying to fight cravings

I’ve been off crack, heroin and booze for over 9 months. I’ve found that AA and NA have been the most beneficial for me. I also went through IOP and had a counselor in the beginning.

Thats so good well done! You shoukd be so proud of yourself! I have tried so many times to get off coke and the longest i have been off it this year is 1 week…
Have you considered rehab? I spent my first 30 days there
I would actually love to go to rehab but i dont think it would be possible for me unfortunately. I work as a nurse and if anyone found out i could potentially get reported and lose my job…

@Becsta do you know if you can be fired for going to rehab? I know in the States that’s illegal. Substance use disorder is classified as a disease and you can’t be punished for seeking treatment.
