Day 1 and know that at the age of 45 my life is not managed well when I drink. Lost myself, family, friends, jobs, and relationships over the past decade. I’m ready, and hope being here on this app daily will also give that support.
I relapsed today but will never quit. One day at a time
Exactly!!! Never giving up on myself. So many times I’ve tried but this is first in app too. We got this!!
Welcome!
I joined this app in June of last year and haven’t had a drink since. It really helped me find my bearings in sobriety.
It’s a great resource for tools and information for your journey.
Thank you for sharing that! Looking forward to this everyday as I start my journey again in sobriety
Welcome Nyki! Glad u found us! Congrats on day 1 and making the decision to live a sober life. This app has been a crucial part of my recovery. Hope it helps u, as much as it has helped me
Thank you @ butterflymoonwoman
Welcome to an amazing community!! One day at a time, you’re stronger than you think. Looking forward to seeing you around
Welcome to the community @Wicked79 . I’m glad you found us here. This place is filled with tons of supportive people and lots of helpful info. I can honestly say it’s a major part of why I’m still sober right now. Read around and get involved where you feel comfortable. I hope you find some of the help and support you need here.
Welcome to Talking Sober. I’m glad you found us. I’ve found this place to be really informative. I hope you find the same.
Stick with it. Sobriety is a great place to be. I’ve been sober for 18 months.
Welcome!
Glad you’re deciding that drinking is no good for you and that you want to quit. That you have no choice in the matter anymore.
This place is good, and will help with your needs as you journey through sobriety.
Check into an AA or local sobriety group. Might be scary at first, but just find your step, it’ll help a lot.
Find a good plan, stick to it daily.
Life becomes better over time.
“Alcohol promised us everything that sobriety gives.”
@CanadianGirl thank you so much for the welcome! Looking forward to the community on here and support.
