Being able to be involved in making a difference in my community in addiction awareness

Being there for support means the world. Your presence means more to someone at times more than putting them in a treatment center physically. Knowing we are not alone helps. I know it helped me. It was the support and knowing there was others like me. Others like me who I could look up to. My inspiration to get moving in the right direction. Then it was god and myself and still is to this day.

It is healing when we know we’re not alone. Especially when you’ve spent a lifetime crying out into the darkness.

I learned i wasnt alone when i went to meetings at my first meeting a guy said this to me and i never forgot it . thats why i still attend meetings to pass the message to the new comer wish you well
