- Males are iridescent green head, yellow bill, white neck ring, brown chest, gray body, and a curled tail feather
- Females are mottled brown and tan, with a dark brown stripe through the eye and an orange bill with black splotches
- Dabbling ducks that filter food from the water; they eat seeds, plants, and insects
- Females make the classic loud “quack,” while males have a lower-pitched call

Amazing photographs! Sand pipers are some of my favorite birds ever, they are so intriguing. And the royal spoonbill looks like something from the Jurassic era

This thread is so great! I’m learning more and more about Birds because I’m building Bird houses. Wrens are a big thing where I live. I guess the mail makes two nest and then the female pics. And they sing a lot.

I cant build a scrap wood rabbit cage in my inlaws lawn lolol. For me that would be a terrible idea
