I think this is a finch. He is by far the coolest little bird I have ever met. These land birds disappear when we get close to land. He did that after hanging out on the kitchen table.
He was everywhere, he would land on me while I was working. He flew up and hung out on my camera trying to take macro shots.

Went on an Alaskan cruise in July. Bald eagles everywhere! So beautiful and such a beautiful place to see and experience.

A kestrel on our walk along a coastal path in North Yorkshire. It was quite busy with lots of people coming and going but that didnt phase the bird. She was hovering and dropping for a good 15mins at a place with lots of rabbits.
The dark one is the original and the second one I just asked my AI to lighten it so you could make out her colours.

Yesterday, I noticed this large group of white pelicans. I went back as soon as I could and they were still here. I had fun watching these birds.
