Truth is i’m quiet sentimental about my b-day. Spent it a few times alone in recent years which was sad. Was for nine yrs in a relationship and after nine yrs she still couldn’t remember the day. She could tell me how much she loved me as much as she liked but it couldn’t make up for always forgetting my b-day. So yeah i have some negative associations with it. But today i’m grateful for having a couple of friends around. I will be celebrating sober for the first time in 26 years, i can’t believe it still.
