I am going to do some cleaning this morning, ready for family popping in. Can’t believe I’m this age now, I’ve crossed the border into my late 30s. The age I am now is the age my Mum was when she passed away. If I make it to Halloween I will become older than she ever was. 35.
I am still sober. No plans for that to change again. ODAAT I am creeping back up towards 6 months, day 158 for no cocaine today. Day 693 without alcohol, and this is the substance I am battling cravings for atm, I think it’s the hot, bright days, but I prefer them sober and it’s the only way for me to live. Dare I say it…? I’m even on day 17 without a takeaway, and a stone down, pleased with this but it is just a start, there’s a long way to go and I’m hoping this time is the time it lasts and I finally get back to a healthy weight.
I really am going to reconnect here, but at the moment I’m still unwell, I’m moving on the 6th, and have surgery for my gallbladder removal on the 13th, if you don’t see me before then, I will surely have time to catch up while I’m recovering.
