Back at day 2. After a full 30 days in March, i spent April, May, and the first part of June nearly constantly drinking - at work just to feel good, followed by getting drunk when I get off to sleep easy and ‘kill boredom’. I’ve had a few 3 or 4 day stretches of sobriety in these months, but nothing I feel good about.
Days 2-5 seem to be the hardest for me, but I’m gonna whiteknuckle it and get through it! Would love to have 20+ days when I go home to see my family 2 states away for the 4th of July.
Anyway, for today, I’ll just get through day 2 ! Dog park, gym, work, and will not swing by the store in the way home !
