What a beautiful share L. Im very sad to read about your grandmother. But what a beautiful story you have in there with you and her. I too was basically raised by my grandmother. They are the best. You, your grandmother, and your family will be in my prayers. I so glad you’re here.
With God on our side.
No one can be against us.
Big hugs.
I feel like today was 2 days in one!
I’m here, I’m sober, I’m exhausted and I’m just checking in before my head hits the pillow.
You win!!
Let’s another one tomorrow.
Congratulations Grandpa Eric!
Day 550.
So I got moved. 300 miles away from everything and everyone I know. It’s a bit intimidating but man the fresh start feels good. We got our own place and we are getting settled. I’m back home for the weekend grabbing more of my things. Headed back to the new place tomorrow. I think my girls are happy. And I know I am.

Hoppa, there we go: a positive Covid test for me as well
Sore troat, headache and a strange head like I’m under the influence of something.
Hope it stays this way and doesn’t get’s worse. Husband is feeling better after a few days of feeling very sick with high fever.
He is going to work from home today. I called in sick at work ofcourse. Hope I didn’t contaminate others
Well I knew it was coming some day, this is the first time I have Covid. Many people around me have had it 2 times already.
Have a good day!
Get well quickly ( like by this evening). Sorry you tested positive. Sending go away Covid vibes to you. Thinking about all of you.
One whole month! 31 days of not waking up with a hangover. Not worrying about where I spent all my money. Not waking up with dread from embarrassing scenarios. Not listening to people retelling my forgotten behaviour. Not worrying about who I’ve upset. Not being paranoid about what others are saying behind my back. Not lying in bed for days in recovery. Not eating takeout most days. Not owing money to anyone. Not feeling ashamed.
Feeling motivated and energised. Doing my work well. Eating healthy food. Being clean and fresh. Having a clean and tidy home. Feeling optimistic and hopeful for the future. Being creative.
Keep on keeping on people x
Day 293 checking in morning everyone hope everyone is well had a massive argument with my partner last nite so feeling a bit shit this morning feel like sticking my middle finger up and going to the shop for a bottle of vodka I know that won’t make things better just got to let these feelings pass
Big huge congratulations to you! Keep on! You’re doing awesome and I can see a beautiful skin glow that you’ve gotten too! Be so proud of yourself. Sometimes what we think we never can do, we can, and we see the benefits and go AH!
Thank you so much I definitely feel a lot better.
Oooh thank you!! I’m in love too!! What a precious gift life has given you.
Aaaaahhh Congratulations Eric, what a lovely grandchild you have!
Sticking that middle finger up and saying “FU alcohol, I got this” is a much better reaction. I know you already know that booze just buries feelings instead of dealing with them. Even working through miserable feelings helps us grow because we learn we can deal with anything in life without that crutch. Deep inside you can cheer yourself on saying even that miserable night didn’t cause me to relapse so I’m even stronger than I realized. Proud of you for coming here to share instead.
That’s a beautiful Gatekeeper butterfly.
Get well soon!
Oh no! Wishing you a speedy recovery, Claudia.
OMG! She is absolutely adorable!! Congratulations Eric!
Hey all, checking in on day 757. I hope everybody has a good one!
