Checking in daily to maintain focus #86

@Techno_Tequila yeah to 5 days! keep putting in the work :muscle: :tada:

aaah I know that feeling all too well. Wishing you a calm easy and quick day - sending over some energy my friend :hugs:
@Jesile UGH - that has to be awful to deal with. I have heard of the effects of Calima but did not know the term. Hope the day is going smoothly and you can be safely indoors :hugs:
@Marieke Loving your number sequence today!! Sorry yesterday was such a bear to deal with. I doo hope the therapy session goes well. Your phone troubles sounds exhausting to deal with. I had my number hacked about 10 years ago and it was linked to some sex service in Detroit. I tried to remove but someone kept posting the add so it was in the recent searches. I had just started my business at the time and my phone number was on all the advertising / business cards etc which made it harder to change. Luckily it did stop after 8 months. Drove me bonkers in the mean time tho. Sorry you have to change your number but it would be best for your sanity. You are doing an amazing job in putting in the work and planning ahead on how to deal with your moods / symptoms in a positive way. I do hope that today is a easier day for you. Grateful to hear that you will be practicing some kindness towards yourself :people_hugging:
@Anonymous2022 Double digits is awesome Prince! Keep that streak going strong :muscle: :tada:
@Finn Yeah to your double 3’s! Wishing you the best of luck with your caffeine and nicotine journey. You can also join the Grumpy A-holes (quitting cigarettes/ nicotine products) (Part 2) (if you haven’t already) to gain even more support / tips for your journey.
@1in8billion great to see you checking in. We can all do with some self improvement and that is what the sober journey is all about. Keep up the great work :hugs:
@Seizetheday :hugs: Oh that is lovely to hear. You are most welcome :hugs:
@RaggedTrouseredPhil Sorry about the funky feelings. Are you able to sit with them to see what may be the cause? Sending you strength friend - ODAAT indeed :muscle:
@Spaxton93 WHOHOO 1 week is awesome! You are crushing it. Your body is detoxing and using all its energy for healing and this can be exhausting. Hang in there - it does get easier and the best part is that you won’t have to repeat these early days again :hugs: Boredom can be a killer. I found it imperative to keep myself distracted and busy in my early days. Some threads here for hobbies (type in hobby in the magnifying glass top right). I found this space and all the threads to be a useful distraction. Many “Just for Fun” threads to keep you engaged as well. Keep up the great work :hugs:
@Seb So glad to hear that the gym and gratitude are helping reframe your mindset. Sorry abour the recent funk friend> You did not need to suffer in silence. We are here for you. You have been through a lot in the past year or so and it makes sense that you would feel this pull from time to time. Those emotions and the experience just doesn’t go away when you are better. Take care of yourself. Hope you are able to get out with the camera some more - stay connected Sebastian :hugs:

ooh now that is exciting. SOOO lovely to see your avatar pop up. Looking forward to your daily check ins :hugs:

Checking in on Wednesday morning
Well I am glad I enjoyed a few nights of decent sleep as my shit schedule seems to have returned. I don’t know if the humidity is a factor but my inflammation is worse than normal. Everything is worse today so I am just breathing through it. Don’t have any other choice  The day seems to calm and peaceful. I am grateful to be indoors with the AC as I know it is stifling hot / humid already.
A busy day awaits so I am preparing to go into it as gently as possible.

Wishing everyone a wonderful addiction free day - sending you all so much love  ;heart:
