Checking into rehab

Today I’m checking myself into rehab bc I’m tired of this life. It’s horrible. I’m growing old before thirty. I’m not near as handsome as I used to be. Or as nice. Or as happy. And neither is my girl. This is my last chance at a life outside of a prison. Today I’ll stop saying I wish, and start saying I will.

This is a selfish program. Fight and protect your sincerity with all you have… we can either get clean and sober or what waits for us is jails, institutions or death… Keep fighting for your life.

Sobriety protect it…

What an awesome, courageous step you are taking! I did rehab too x 6 days, then a 30 day outpatient program when I first got sober. It takes such strength and willingness to take this step for yourself. Can’t wait to hear how you’re doing on the other side of this! Stay strong, sober and connected! :muscle::metal::rose:

Y’all are so motivational thank you so much I’ve never had a support group worth talking about but this app has helped me with my hope and faith more than i van explain. Thank y’all so much!

They didn’t have a bed until this Wednesday, I’ve managed to stay clean since I called them to check in, although the love of my life left me. I’m so sad, but on the other hand ready to start a new chapter

Hang in there. It’ll be worth it

Sorry to hear about your love leaving. I can tell you from my experience, sobriety and recovery will bring you a life you never dreamed of. My husband of 16 yrs and I split (I had already gotten sober) were split up for over a year and then HE got into AA too, and we are now building a sober love together! It is awesome, but we both had to take care of ourselves first before we could ever be anything more than a dysfunctional couple. Don’t look past today, the future will happen as it should and you’ll be a happier, healthier part of it! Stay strong, stay sober, stay connected🌹
