I’ve been in recovery for 51 days. I have been clean and have not touched heroin, meth or any other drugs or alcohol throughout these past 51 days. I attend a suboxone clinic everyday other day and go to group meeting 2-3 times a month. I’ve been working at amazon putting in alother if hours, and have managed to get a really nice new car. My next step is to get an apartment on my own, I’m single, no pets, no roommates, just me myself and my thoughts. It’s been a tough road but I am not giving up this time. I’m 22 years old and have struggled with heroin addiction for 3 years and many other illicit drugs since I was 16 years old. it’s is tough but in order to keep my head straight I have had to change my entire outlook on life, I’ve lost alot of friends, lost relationships, and lost tel he trust and respect of many people, but I refuse to stop fighting to better myself and change my life around. anyone out there reading this, just know that it’s never too late, and there will always be hope as long as we all help one another and offer positive support. Thank you for those who tooknow the time to read this extremely long post.

51 days! Simply amazing to me! You must strong, talented and resourceful. Congratulations
thank you very much. I have alot of support from my family and from my friends at the clinic I go to including the counselors and fellow recovering addicts who I talk to in group meetings. I can’t wait for the day I finish my treatment with suboxone so I can be truly free of all substances and enjoy my drug free life
