One of my favorite YouTubers is a psychology professor and crocheter/knitter. In this episode she talks about why crocheting/knitting is good for mental health. I think you would appreciate this, @Matt
I like the colors you are using! I also started to attempt trying this chevron pattern for the first time to make a blanket about a mth ago with a bright blue and yellow but have had it put away bc a friend had asked if I could maybe try to figure out how to make a crocheted halter crop top…so that’s what I’m working on figuring out to finish up currently. I will be working over the weekend though so I am hoping that maybe I will finish it next week. I really hope it will come out looking ok! I’ve found some neat YouTube channels to subscribe to to watch different videos and tutorials.
Thank you, will do I usually have a couple of projects going and switch when I get bored with one.
But it’s a summer tee so I should probably make this one a priority.
It looks like you’re nearly done. I was working on two massive blankets, and I had to stop to do physical therapy on my hands. I’m good now. I really want to finish one of them asap. So I’m going to focus on one now.
I will. I’m actually procrastinating. I haven’t touched it in two months, so it’s creating some anxiety to pick it up again. I have to remember the stitch pattern and color pattern and feel the right tension. I just have to pick it up. I know that it will all come back to me like riding a bike. This is the beginning of the weekend. I will get to it later today.
I’m wondering if I should leave this as a scarf. It’s too wide already though. The problem is that it’s not going to be a rectangle because each row wanders a bit. That’s just the nature of this pattern, which I didn’t know before I started. Otherwise it’s a lovely pattern. It’s going to make a lovely crooked blanket.
WHOOOAAA!!! Sensory overload!!! I found this thread by accident and started scrolling and wanted to like every picture because everything is so SO PRETTY!!!
