It looks great. Don’t worry about the bubbles.
That’s one of my favorite patterns. Great colors!
The blue sweater is gorgeous, that’ll be a master piece when finished! What the stitch, patent?
And the cotton placemats are genius, durable washable and cheap! Do you happen to have a pic of the back of them? Wondering how you did the lovely two tone… love them!
My recent knitting projects are all super easy, I am making lots a baby hats and baby blankets for friends of mine. The blankets are soft and washable which I went for over material, so they’re only acrylic. 🤷 IMG_20201013_154315|375x500
Baby blankets are soooo fun, yours is cute with the tassels!
My blue sweater is knit in fisherman’s rib, and the placemats are in linen stitch, though I’ve heard people call it “xo” stitch. To get the alternating color I just switch colors every two rows and bring the other yarn up one side. Here’s a pic of the wrong side:
thank you for the info! super gorgeous I am 100% going to steal this design!
OMGoodness, that’s so cute, LOL
I just started crocheting in the past month. Taught myself off YouTube as well and got a big bag of yarn from Value Village. I had the same idea, would keep me busy instead of drinking. I’ve put it down and slipped up a few times, but back at it with a vengeance. Currently working on crocheting everyone in my family a big dishcloth for Christmas. I miss stitches often, but it’s more the ritual of it all, then the perfection. I’ll get there!
Pretty! I can’t wait to see this come together
I’ve been on YouTube most of today watching only crochet videos. I’ll never learn every technique. I might not even learn ABOUT every technique. I’ve just been amazed at what I’ve found today. I get ideas and put them together in my own way. I find creativity to be very satisfying.
I was working on this blanket, but think I might start over with different colors. I’ll have to relearn this.
Have any of you tried arm knitting? Can’t decide if I am brave enough.
You’re brave enough. Try it and tell us about it.
Really? I think those colours are great!
So beautiful!
This is a good idea. Thank you!
That’s a lovely blanket.
