How’s everyone doing today? Good I hope. I could use a distraction. Show me what you’re working on  I’m knitting up a shawl for my best friend for Yule. I’m using the simple Scandinavian shawl pattern on Ravelry. This will be my second one. I’m not a great knitter but this pattern is so easy.

That shawl looks nice!! A lovely present for sure!

I’m still working on a granny square blanket I’ve posted here not long ago. Got bordering done and realised I have to undo the last row/layer 🤦🏻 Didn’t notice a very noticeable mistake that I can’t leave be. Frustrating. I so wanted to be done with it, such a long project. Luckily it’s only a couple of hours simple work, but still…

Thanks!

Oh god that’s frustrating. I’ve definitely done that before.

I’m just picking my knitting up again since early March. I’m hoping to get this shawl finished soon.

That shawl looks so nice and comfy!

So, this is a very good question as I feel I’m sorta in between projects!

What I should do is continue with the black and white yarn on the left and make more of those potholders as Christmas prezzies.
But then, I have the hot pink on top, from which I’d like to knit a beanie, and the with yellow on the right I’d like to knit socks, with the same pattern that I’d shown pics here before.

And I have a question. Do you guys have any experience these Prym ergonomic needles? I borrowed these from a friend, and tested them. They were better than regular ones, but they’re pricey. I’m just wondering if they’re worth it.

I haven’t ever even heard of ergonomic needles. I didn’t know they existed. Lol.

I love that yellow color. And a hot pink beanie sounds really fun! I also have never heard of those needles and am intrigued…what do you think so far?

Hey, thanks for asking! They were good!

So, with the needles, they’re rounded on the ends, for me it was easier to pick the yarn with them as it doesn’t split the yarn. Also I suppose that because they’re sorta triangle shaped they’re more ergonomic to hold, and also I feel with the aluminium ones that have more pointy ends, they are more slippery.

The thing is though, a set of five needles for socks cost around 10€ and I think that they’re pricy. Haven’t search from the internet yet too much, but obviously ordering online will also have the delivery costs. Maybe I should hint someone that these would a good Christmas present for me :see_no_evil::joy:

I didn’t like them and returned them.
