Crocheters, Knitters, Crafters, and the like 2020 to present

I tried it once, and made a very hole filled wash cloth…:woman_shrugging:

It’s been a while since I’ve been here, and sober. I haven’t picked up my crochet hooks since last winter, but the last thing I made was this blanket, that the dogs immediately adopted.

The “virus” shawl. I loved making them, too. So…addictive!

This is my first time seeing them. Not something I’ve seen in the US. Makes sense tho. Gonna go research!

Okay! I don’t even know where to company is from that makes these. :see_no_evil: But they make those aluminium ones with pointy ends also.

Okay, did some Googling and found out that they started in Germany. And they do all kinds of supplies for knitting, crocheting and sewing. The things google knows! :joy:

I didn’t like the feeling of working over a bump on the end of my needles. I’m sure I could have gotten used to it after a while. But after a while you learn how not to split the yarn. So those needles aren’t necessary at all. There are much better needles available, especially if you’re not on a budget.

This isn’t the virus shawl.

Okay, thanks for sharing this! The friend that I borrowed these from swears by them :joy: I found them helpful, but if there are better ones available, I probably won’t bother.

Thx and pretty easy and fun to make. Want to make fleece side attached to the inside of the tail. But don’t know how to sew this. Do you? Or anyone else?

My best friend made a scrap yarn blanket using 3 strands at a time. That thing weighs no less than 50 pounds! Haha
I love your color choice.

Hey great! Thanks for the tip! Did you use yarn from the same brand?

Ahh. My bad. But, hey, now a new stitch to try! Thanks.

Most of the times I go to the same store, and if I see nice looking yarn, I buy some and later will look up a pattern. I liked this yarn so much that I also made a bag and a sweater. Forgot the brand name. What do you like to make?
