Daily fitness check in 💪 (Part 2)

I was able to get 11k xc skiing in in under 1hr and 15 minutes. Pretty good clip for an old man. Really like my new skis! Gonna treat myself to dinner out on the town.

Monday - Leg Day

Started with box squats again and was able to do some higher volume again. Did some higher weight RDLs and also added in some lunge variations. Finished with goblet squats and hip thrusts. My legs feel like jelly and I know tomorrow is going to be a battle to get out of a seated position. The rest of the week will be a breeze after that.

@Cjp @Mtrav0040 I always contribute my depth to having pet bunnies my whole life. :laughing: I never liked carrying them (unless absolutely necessary), I always got on the ground to them. :rabbit_face::rabbit_face: It unknowingly prepared me for a future of squats. :joy:

Lunch time walk

20 minutes on the elliptical

Chest and bicep workout. Hit 9 reps at 90% body weight on bench.

I don’t know what I’d be doing with myself if I didn’t have this outlet. So thankful for my gym.

Been trying to get at it daily. Had a couple quiet training days during nightshift. Got in a double yesterday, weights in the morning some rowing cardio in the afternoon.

Today I got to the gym for some pad rounds, with the idea of just flowing and taking it easy, but somehow that turned into a bit higher intensity lol.

Will get something done this afternoon too while the kids are training

Yesterday I decided to not work out before my shift and it was good idea because they had me running all over the place which I was totally cool with I thrive in a fast paced environment actually made me appreciate my job even more and the fact I could keep going just proves all the running has 100% paid off today is my day off from the load crew but at the warehouse starting at 3am remember we are capable of anything and for me it’s no excuses. Balance is the key.
I had a super busy day and just want to chill out and enjoy myself in a warm room :heart:
Will cook a Thai soup with chicken.
Hard, long day ahead tomorrow.

The zercher squats I did at the kettlebell class.

As my coach says: When you go down hold your breath like you’re going under water, then release and breathe when you stand like you’re coming up for air. :ocean:
